Interim CEO – Raymond Szabada
As the founder and Chairman of the Board of XLRator, Mr. Szabada is qualified to lead the team as the Chief Executive Officer in the interim as XLRator strives to fill this position. As a veteran entrepreneur and a seasoned Technology executive, Mr. Szabada, understands how to build and grow companies. Currently he is the CEO of i-Open technologies, a Mission based Systems Integrator and provider of Spatial technologies to some of North America’s Largest organizations. Read the Chairman’s Message
Secretary and Chief Financial Officer – Dale Emery
In the past, Mr. Emery has been active in the field of accounting and business management for over 40 years in a variety of managerial capacities. Some of the key past positions Mr. Emery has held include Treasurer, Controller, and Manager of Accounting and Finance. In addition, he has served as an Internal Auditor, and provided Public Accounting & Tax Services for a varied clientele across a multitude of industries. He has exhibited a flair for designing integrated spreadsheet applications and takes pride in meeting challenges, working as a team member, and assisting and contributing to the growth of a business.
Upon earning the CA designation Mr. Emery worked for a number of high profile organizations including Ernst & Young, Ernst & Ernst and Touche Ross CA. Later he was active with the Yukon’s Institute of Chartered Accountants for several years. While working in the Yukon, he was with the Yukon Housing Corp for over 10 years. When he retired from the public service he relocated to the lower mainland at which time he also relinquished his CA designation for personal reasons.
As a volunteer, over the years in addition to serving on a variety of committees, he has held the positions of Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Trustee and other senior offices with distinction in a variety of non-profit / charitable organizations, including the BC / Yukon Region of Scouts-Canada (as part of this engagement he was awarded the Award of Merit in 2001 for service to Scouting), a parish church, and several fraternal organizations.
